After it all, Cecil is tired. He's more tired than he's ever been in his life. It's a bone deep weariness that pulls him to his bed, even when he's so far away from it.
He doesn't go home though, doesn't return to ttheir his bed. He finds himself at Dana's house, standing in her doorway, uncertain of what he's going to do, what he wants to say.
Everything he could say to her that wouldn't be something along the lines of "You couldn't make him find a way to come home?" are out of his head and left standing and heartbroken with nothing to do but hope something happens.
Today is a day for believing in angels. Because if there are angels, then there are miracles.
